Interview - Lexlay

On our fourth interview we have the Legendary Spanish Dj, Producer and Label Boss, Lexlay.

To make you understand a little better why Lexlay is such an epic artist, we made this interview consisting of 10 simple questions hoping to show you a little about why he is so succesful.

1) Would you consider yourself a perfectionist?

-YES! a lot!!!

2) How would you describe your music?

-Fresh / Energetic & with a lot of rhythm.

3) What's your work day like?

-Music, music & music & sport all day long :)

4) Did you always want to be an artist?

-No, it comes alone with work!

5) What gives you the most joy?

-Play music for people and see that they are enjoying a lot!

6) If we could take a look at the artists you are listening to, who

would be on your playlist?

-I really like a lot listen disco music, soul, jazz & house music. I really like Maceo Parker / Sister Sledge / Gino Soccio / Donna Summer & Claptone.

7) Would you have any advice for artists wanting to follow in your footsteps?

-Work every day, perseverance & passion! The most important things!

8) Why do you use that artist name?

-Because when I started to be a dj I used a lot the effect ¨Delay¨ to play. My name is Alex. And my artist name is the mix of Alex & Delay, LEXLAY :)

9) Which famous musicians do you admire?

-Queen & Rollings Stones

10) If you could choose any career besides Music what could it be?

-Actor!
